Worship Service Ministries
The Alter Guild is called to enhance our worship by preparing the Lord's Table for all services. This preparation is carried out reverently, lovingly, carefully, and willingly. This includes the cleaning and changing of the altar linens and paraments, preparing the elements for the Lord's Supper, and preparing the altar flowers for delivery to shut-ins after services.
The Choir is called to worship the Lord and to present through song the Word and Biblical truths that support the scripture readings during the Worship service. In addition, the Choir provides encouragement to the congregation and leads it in worshipping the Lord. The Choir is open to any and all members of the church who want to worship God with our voices! The Choir practices every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm in the Sanctuary.
We strive to effectively and efficiently give comfort through the sacrament of Holy Communion, and through the ministry of prayer to the needs of the hurting world. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at both services. Our Savior's welcomes all God's people to the Lord's Table.
Our prayer teams are available every Sunday after communion on the left side of the sanctuary during services. The prayer teams are trained, able and willing to pray and intercede for any needs you may face.
To enhance the beauty of the church and sanctuary with decorations pertinent to the church year.
To welcome parishioners in a Christ-like manner, promoting orderly and reverent worship before, during and after the service.
Our purpose as a worship ministry is to provide the atmosphere where the congregation can connect with the Lord in praise and worship. We lead the congregation into an experience of intimate worship. We look to the Holy Spirit to move unhindered, where people can be drawn into intimate communion with Him. We welcome Jesus and allow the manifestation of His presence in any way He sees fit.
